This was a very special wedding. Harleigh and Callan got in touch with me a while back, and told me a bit about their day. They explained they were young, on a bit of a budget, but had some pretty cool ideas. This wedding shows what can be done when a community of people get together and make something properly special. So much of it was put together by friends and family, and it all came together beautifully at Pokolbin Hall in the Hunter Valley.Read More
This was a pretty special wedding. Mudgee is a cute country town in central New South Wales. It is known for two things in particular: food and wine. For the latter, imagine vineyards on the outskirts of this cute, country town. Now imagine a wedding in the vineyards. That's The Vinegrove.

We spent the afternoon at their apartment in Wollstonecraft, where I was taught the delicacies of making home-made pasta using a hand roller. Fun and messy are two words that come to mind. Whilst we waited for the pasta to dry, we crossed the bridge and made our way out to the beautiful grounds of Strickland House. As we arrived, someone had taken up residence perched on a rock, stringing an acoustic guitar. Couples were splayed out reading and picnicking, and the sun was setting over the glistening Sydney cityscape.Read More
